[Countdown] for June 2009 SAT scores

For us west coasters, scores should be up by 2 AM PST right? I’ll just stay up. I’ve been going to sleep later than that all summer anyways.

well, it would show you’re consistent lol.
thinking positively

i don’t want to be consistent, i want to show that i have improved by about, i dunno, 440 points. XP

i have to be at a research internship at 9 AM. so…i’ll just grab some starbucks on my way in the morning lol.

honestly, they’re ******bags for not putting it up now. Let’s be honest, no ones doing any last minute work grading our SATs. The system makes us pull those allnighters, they don’t have to. Yet they seem eager to make us suffer throug just one more even though we’re supposedly on vacation

it’s nice to be in west coast!!! scores come out at 2 am.
hahaha
im gona play fb poker for the next 3 hours? hahah
maybe watch a movie. idk

i want more 800s!!

HAHA I’m on the West Coast. I’m staying up. Im interning at 8am :D. Oh and I don’t consume caffeine ;]

student#54321: i know, right?
i can totally picture the fat collegeboard people eating donuts and cracking whips on the backs of small children in a sweat shop at 1:45 AM, making them push test sheets through a huge scantron machines.
and fire all around. lots of fire.

^lol sounds a lot like what hell will look like

^ what. the heck. aha

Where are you doing a research internship at?

seems like most of the people in this thread are from the west coast.

kboateng: good luck! i’m thinking about running to the mini mart for a few five hour energy shots and maybe a milkshake and ibuprofen.
let’s make this a party haha.

Blackroses216: It’s at a small private high school about 20 minutes from where I live. Even though I’m in CA, it’s sponsored and supervised by a computer science professor from Purdue University. We’re doing a couple projects right now about population of the earth and DNA sequencing. It’s super interesting, but it makes your brain hurt after a few hours of staring at long strings of code and pages and pages of spreadsheets!

LOL sounds good waitingforcal :D. Maybe I’ll go for a jog  exercising always keeps me up. What are you guys wishing for?

that internship sounds like it will make the heads of college admissions officers hurt too as they clumsily determine you are smarter than them and let you in

@ waitingforcal: that’s really tight. I’m thinking about doing something at UCI this summer… how long is your internship? And how do you know stuff like that (reading code, etc.) as a high schooler? man i feel dumb aha… wanna continue this through pm?

@ kboateng: Hoping for a 2000+ I’m still taking the SAT one more time though.

Time is going by so freakin’ slowly.

3 hours :)

watch a movie

student#54321: after they see my GPA and test scores, I think they’ll just laugh at me lol. but thanks!

kboateng: i’m doing myspace surveys, refreshing collegeboard.com, and listening to music. =] a jog sounds nice, if it were warmer and i wasn’t so anxious.

oh and as for what i’m hoping for: i got a 1760 the first time i took the SAT. so 1820 and i’ll be excited. now, 1900+? happiest. person. alive.
