19 Days till scores including today! I love how the CollegeBoard makes the signup for the May SAT due one day before scores come out, so they can get signup money from the kids who may have been satisfied with their score and don't need to take it again.

Or you can just take it in June? That’s what I’m planning to do. Because May I’m going to do the US History SAT II and I need to study for APs.

Would the May exam have a better curve though because everyone else is concentrating on APs?

No, I can’t do the one in June, b/c I like to study a lot prior to the test and I have finals all week that week.

I didn’t think about the AP studying in May, but I only have 1 AP, so it doesn’t affect me. In June, I’ll probably do Chem and Math II.

haha yeah that March 31 register date is bs.
I think I’ll just register for the May ones late if I need to (which I probably will)…I’d rather blow 20-something on the late fee than 45 on signing up for a test I won’t take.
Now it would be really perfect if you could sign up for the May tests without specifying SAT I or SAT IIs.

But back to April 1…is anyone planning on playing it cool and casually looking up the scores when it’s convenient? Or is it definitely going to be a late night/early morning for you guys?

Ill be waking up for school anyways so it doesnt matter

What time do they get emailed at?

I heard it was 5am eastern time?

I love how it’s on April Fool’s Day. Not that I’m hoping my scores will be a joke.

Scores usually come out around 5 AM EST. I’ll be taking SAT IIs in May so no need to pay CB more late fees.

@Jersey

I’m doing the same thing…I probably won’t retake the SAT in June though, because my EC starts to get intense around now and I won’t have much time to improve my score. I’ll probably retake in October. We’ll see.

I think I’m done after this one. My Jan score was pretty good and I won’t be too disappointed if I don’t get the 2400 this time.

I won’t be done with SAT until 700 or more for each section in one sitting. I’ll probably take it again October depending this month’s score.
I can’t take it in May because of AP exams and in June because of SAT II Subject exam

Why? A large majority of the colleges superscore.

^oh good point.

Will the scores be posted on their website?

[SAT Scores - Get Your SAT Scores Online](<a href=“The SAT – SAT Suite | College Board”>The SAT – SAT Suite | College Board)

Already got it bookmarked :)

Thanks for the clarification.

How exactly does superscoring work?

SAT scores come out on the same day as this year’s admissions decisions for half the Ivies? CC is going to blow up that day haha.

They take your best score in each section out of all the tests you’ve taken and add them up to get the best score possible (to the superscore question)
