<p>Not to be a killjoy or anything, but is there any way one could NOT be recognized? Can one person "black ball" a cadet to prevent him from being recognized? I remember a thread about this last year but simple sloth prevents me from looking for it.</p>

<p>FM, as far as I know, everyone is Recognized as long as they make it, but squadrons can (and sometimes do) refuse to grant any privileges to those who haven't earned them in the eyes of the squadron.</p>
<p>Yeah, there's a girl in my squad who won't be recieving all her privileges until a week after spring break. She was caught OFT and in civvies last weekend, and numerous times before that. We've actually been restriced every weekend since chirstmas because of her "extra-curricular activities." Oh well, this is the last weekend it really matters! </p>

<p>So, the young lady of whom Viper wrote will be "recognized" but may not get to wear civvies (legally), listen to music, etc. Right? </p>

<p>My understanding is everyone is recognized by getting their Prop and Wings. There are some people that will not get all of the privileges (media, at rest in squad, civies, etc) because they do not live up to the standards set before them.</p>
<p>OK, got it. Is actual "recognition day" on Saturday? Party supper? A dance? What's the ceremony? Can we buy the video?</p>
<p>From my understanding, we start on thursday after classes, end on saturday, get our prop and wings and have our squadron ceremony and then the whole wing gets together for a recognition dinner.</p>
