hey missmuff... can you still call minutes even with both of your broken nails ;)

veeeeery iffy.
lol.

so how much does it hurt to wake up with your freshmen every morning? buahahaha

its actually not that bad. like today they had the knowledge test, then i just to talk with them about a couple things. it was actually pretty nice. plus then i was awake for breakfast.

you know, you can probably get a form 18 for those nails if you need... ;)

lol
you're right. i might need bedrest or something...they're really bad! :P

side note-get up for group 3 round robin today-w00t! ;)

im excited for the wing wide training session, yes!

So, for the uninitiated: What will drop out at recognition? SAMIs? That strip running thing? Media welcomed? In-room coffee/micro/refrigerator/barcalounger/futon/loft beds?

we're at rest everywhere at usafa. civvies. no minutes. no checkpoints. no k-tests. no strips. no eating at attention. rooms in AMI every day. media is perfectly fine.

fridges have to wait til 2dig year

Three digs can have fridges with AOC approval. It's become a tradition for leadership to sort of "bribe" the sophomore class, promising the privilege once A, B, and C have been met. Invariably, that turns into "well, just do D and you'll have them," "after E, I promise," and "once you guys do F you'll get them for sure." Still, most eventually get them sometime during the year. We did at the beginning of this semester, and it's pretty nice.

lol sounds like my parents... I guess things won't be that much different :D

we didn't get fridges last year until a week or so before finals.

and as for all the privileges, a list comes out. civies are still not permitted to be worn unless you are signed out, although only certain squadrons follow that policy. also, techinically there is still supposed to be a separation between fourth classmen and upperclassmen (using Cadet ______), although again only certain squadrons will enforce those rules

ie mighty mach one
and eagle36. :D

:p

only for certain people who i am either "mean" to or "tease" farily often. haha. and people who say that i'm "mean" or "tease".

lol. oh what a weekend.

her words, not mine.

i'm so glad you're back!

to the rest of the world to whom we are being very rude, we went on a ski trip with church and he teased me incessantly. (i'll admit it's not hard to do... lol)

I heard third group on my way to dinner. I'm glad I wasn't there.
We're having a wing wide training session? Great.

it was horrible. ugh.

i heard from someone in 37 that the wing-wide was supposed to be friday. but i don't know, that's just what i heard.

Yep, wing wide is Friday. Have fun and guess what! Only 51 days!

i'm interested to hear where everyone is getting their training info from. i find it entertaining (and ironic) that i'm on training staff and have heard nothing of this session. i know there is comm's challenge training saturday, making this weekend a silver weekend (and silver friday), but that's it.

and for those of us awesome enough to be in choir, we're traveling this weekend anyway so i guess we won't be around, right missmuff? :)

except the comm's training is not for everyone just those who failed certain parts of it.

And i have heard about a wing wide training session from my own squadron lol..

YEAH! We get to do land nav again, wohoo

wing wide training was cancelled... but we've still got 2 for our squad thursday and friday :)

yep, comm's training is makeups for those that did terrible in something during comm's challenge. ie, we have to make up marching.. oy
