that's pretty sweet, not to mention annoying. I am hiding out in my room because I don't know everyone's hometown, major, middle name and AFSC yet :)

-Already, there are no toilet seats in our squad. Curse you four digs! 39 more days...
evil cackle That's because they're all on Spirit Hill, for anyone who's not here. We didn't take the guideons though, if anyone's missing those. Did anyone get woken up last night, by the way? Apparently some of our guys got chased down for blasting airhorns in Vandy.
And there's one more thing left for the 39th day... though I'm not sure when it'll happen or if the majority of the wing will be back for it.
Nuke 'em 'til they glow! :)

Spirit missions to annoy/P.O. the upperclassmen aren't a good idea. I'm a nice guy, but I really want to beat any 4 dig from 39... Stealing toilet seats...really? You think that's creative?

Do something memorable and funny.

So does each squadron take a turn base on what day it is?

yep... every day closer is another squad's turn to do a spirit mission. so tomorrow it'll be 38's turn, and on down the line til 1.

Is there a ceremony for awarding and pinning the prop and wings? Do the 4 digs go buy them and have them available for pinning, and when does this take place? A graduate friend would like to provide his wings for the pinning and I need to get them gold plated.

Yes, there is a ceremony. Upperclassmen present the prop and wings. I'm not sure exactly who usually pays, but it's not the freshmen. The 1st set of P&Ws are presented at the ceremony, but good freshmen often get multiple sets afterwords from upperclassmen/instructors who respect them.

38 More days...now it takes me 10 facing movements to get back to my room. Oh the joy of forty days.

I remember it used to take me 16 just to get to the bathroom.

In other news, who's excited about stand-ups? Good times...

So what did 38 do today?

Nothing good.

stole the guidons again, attempted to zip tie their seniors doors (but messed up and failed), put 38's on the glass windows and doors at mitchs, and put up red white and blue streamers. all pretty lame.

usually fourth classmen get to pick an upperclassmen to pin on their wings, and its that upperclassman's responsibility to buy them and pin them. they tried to stop the pinning of additional wings last year, but one it didn't rly work, and two you could still give them in a handshake. i still have mine from that night. greatest night of my life...

hahha.. circle of life this morning. made my day

i was entering mitchs as it started, so i missed most of it :( i would have sung along too! haha

they should play a song every morning. everyone was singing along, and everyone seemed that much happier. lol

i liked the pink panther theme this morning lol

although we were reciting group staff at that time so couldn't really enjoy it.

ah we just listened and enjoyed :)

today must be 36 days... same song every year... lol

well, what do you expect? lol

I must say, I liked 37s more than 36 (sorry). 37 was simple and original. Lion King over the speakers, the "zoo" outside Mitchs, the "Elephants Extreme!" greeting, and the Command Center email. They had a great idea and executed it very well.
