Prepare a couple of questions for the interview, and though I know some advise against this, DO (absolutely do this!!) think about and prepare answers for the typical interviews.
The one I had just thought about the day before my Choate interview was the only one she asked- What do your teachers think about you?
I would have been stumped if I hadn't thought about it previously.

I was wondering if you were doing an interview for Exeter and the question why are you applying to Exeter came up. I have a lot of specific things to say but i was wondering if prestige is a part of the reason you are applying (not that it is for me) should you say it or would you come off as to image oriented. Just wondering.
Another thing is Essays ugh i have great topics and a bunch of points i want to talk about but i can't seem to get started wth a good introduction. this always happens to me with every essay i write i can write a good essay once i get started but it is always hard for me to get started. any tips

Hmm.If you have all these points... The typical essay essay intro would go over all these points in a concise way. But for a personal essay, as it is for your school apps, try for something that grabs the reader's attention and makes them go "WHY are they writing about this?"
then the body should explain this, and the conclusion should leave them wondering more about you.

WOO. Totally going to apply to NMH. My mom changed her mind after seeing Choate and said, "Now I really want you to go! Should you apply to more schools?"

My goodness I know.
I have a checklist of things to do... It is currently 63 items. More if you count stuff like actually going on an interview, or the seperate short answers. But basically I've done 22/63 and I only have 39 daysss!!!

Exeter is amazing! Tied with Choate.
The interview went great and I'm very, very happy with the place. I met with Ms. Misenhiemer (I think that's her name... Hehe People talked too fast!!) and she gave me a great tour of the studios!!

No problem!
BLARGH no I haven't sent anything!!
I have two recs with me, and a few applicant info forms halfway filled out. My mom and I are probably going to do some of that tonight.
Interviews practically done (except NMH) and I have one essay and three short answers done.

You have your recs? I havent given my teachers the recs yet, but will they most likely just give it back to me? Or is there somewhere on there telling them they need to send it in there selves.

I don't know... I'm having the teachers give them back to me with their signature over the seal. I'll be putting all the recs for each schools plus the school report and transcript in one big envelope and sending them together. Better than having 6-10 different envelopes flooding their mail box, right?

Very true, but do you think the schools will be skeptical knowing that you got all your Recs back and sent them yourself. IDK it just feels like the teachers may have a propensity to write a better rec knowing there giving it back to the student.
