yeah don't pay any attention to gateway, it's not that important.

socks, you have very good chances. i have a 3.97 UW and a 32 ACT (i got 33 math and 35 science and i applied for engineering).

i did not receive any scholarship information with my acceptance. i'll let you all know tomorrow if i get any scholarship information in the mail.

feel free to PM me if any of you have any questions. good luck to you all!

last year we went to a usc login page that recognized you email and password) if you were admitted. my D checked it every few hours for days until it recognized her! 2 days after that she got the acceptance in the mail. but she went crazy that night because the page refreshes after login with the message: Congratulations! and then it has all of your admit day info.

my act breakdown was like this:
35 english, 35 reading, 33 science, 30 math (yea im math challenged and thats a fact)

the fact that my right-brained scores are higher shouldn't matter if i applied bio right? bc bio is still in the college of letters arts and sciences...? blaah im putting way too much thought into this!

i can't log into the rsvp site :(. it says my # and last name dont match up.

Yay! I just got my letter and got in. Did anyone else who applied for the scholarship deadline get any information about the scholarships? My letter didn't mention them at all, not even to say "nope, none for you." Does anyone know about how the scholarship things work? Good luck to everybody else out there! I'm sure you will all do fine!

I just got my letter today too and I was concerned about scholarships (because for my Case Western one they mentioned the scholarships in the same letter) so I looked it up online. And I found out that most of the scholarships are awarded in early April. What a long wait!

Your scholarship letters should arrive shortly. They don't award the scholarships until late March, but you get interviewed for them at Explore USC in February or March, to determine which scholarship you actually receive. You can interview for a trustee and end up with a presidential, or the other way around, or you can end up with a dean's scholarship. I'm sure if you got your letter today, you're up for some sort of scholarship.

I got in : ) Beautiful letter today. But I'm dying to hear about scholarships too, because I'm pretty much Trustee's or a no-go. Which would suck cause this is my #1 school

So, Film applicants anyone? It says I have been accepted to this major: Cinema-Television. It didn't say Cinema-Television WHAT though... so I'm confused... I applied 1st choice production, 2nd choice Critical Studies. Will a separate letter be coming soon for the film school too?

just got my letter today. what's all this talk about the 22nd and the 26th? the earliest date i see for explore usc is april 2nd. maybe it's because i can't log in to the admitted students rsvp site yet...which is weird

two things: i applied as a print journalism major but the acceptance letter put me down as a communication major. i know it's probably just a simple mistake but is this something i should worry about? i'm calling admissions on monday
