Countdown to DECISION DAY!!!

lol I’m with you @globalroutes!

Man, the shame that might (but for argument’s sake, WON’T) accompany the decision would be terrible! It’s not even like you can escape it - because the darn song is on every five minutes!

i’ve been singing along to that song…my voice is almost gone…too bad i have two poetry recitation contests to attend tomorrow.

It’s 5:11 pm ET… where is my email. Haha.

Worse! Now it’s 5:23!!!

Ugh I’ve been refreshing my inbox for a while now… I really hope it comes today, just so we know when we get the decision

Hello my dears, I’d like to officially add myself to this wonderfully quirky list of worriers. Did I miss something? Are we getting some sort of update email today?

Uhh my friend told me Columbia released their D-time as 5pm EST on December 11th. I don’t know if he’s right or wrong though so dont trip balls!

Ok so apparently somebody lied about getting an email today.
I’ve seen a lot of people say that we’re getting it on the 11th for some reason (maybe because it has been for the past 2 years), so maybe tomorrow we will get that email.

Last year, the email was sent on the 8th and the decisions were posted on the 11th.

@NWdivisionCHAMPS: How does your friend know btw?

I’m up…so the email didn’t come huh? Wouldn’t it be exciting if we kept on worrying like this every day until the 15th?
Not. ergh, I’m going to school.

@jalinovi
That was what I was thinking in the shower…! Set up a college confidential booth on orientation day or what ever it’s called. Come claim your username! Haha~

haha from now on lets only post up VERIFIED information and not speculation. I was worrying my ass off

Results are coming Thursday at 5PM:

We plan to post all decisions here on Thursday, December 10, 2009, after 5:00pm (Eastern Time).

If you applied online, to view your decision you will need both the PIN and password you created when you submitted your application. If you have lost or forgotten your password, click here to receive your password via e-mail.

I AM SO NERVOUS. it’s nearing the end. oh lordy.

Haha yup,
I’m pretty sure everyone else is as nervous as you are…

LIKE ME AHHHHHHHHHHH

The funny thing is that for like half of us, the journey will be extended for another 4 months if we get deferred. :(

Do they really differ that many people?

kewl. Just got home and found the letter. And weird, I didn’t even get excited, just sat there thinking will it be worth it to get up at 6 am on Friday…I guess I was just disappointed that it wasn’t the FAO. Huh.

If I were deferred I would probably just treat it like a downright rejection. And I don’t think they defer very many students. They wouldn’t want that much extra work added to the regulars pile. Just my theory.

they do defer quite a few actually. schools like georgetown dont even give rejections for the early round. whatever happened to high school population decreases from this yr on lol? it seems to have only gotten tougher!
