<p>Brown does seem like a popular 2nd choice, which is kind of surprising when their structure couldn’t be more opposite to Columbia’s. I’m surprised the same people who like the idea of the Core also like Brown’s completely open choice method.</p>
<p>i think i only picked columbia because of NYC. if they had a columbia and a brown in NYC, i’d pick brown</p>

<p>pearlh/saltyballs: I have to agree with saltyballs on this one. I picked Columbia because of the city. In terms of curriculums, I think they’re both great and I’ll obviously get an amazing education at either one. </p>
<p>Honestly, I think NYU is overrated, and definitely overpriced. There’s no community factor, and the classes (as I’ve heard) aren’t that great.</p>
<p>^^ well, while I don’t agree that NYU necessarily sucks, I have to admit I’m not a fan of their decentralized campus structure. and the admissions process there, while hardly lenient, isn’t exactly as cutthroat as columbia. or even close. so I guess I see where hahaiwin is coming from.</p>

<p>Last year, the email came out on the 8th and the decisions were posted on the 11th.</p>
<p>NYU sucks because when I visited the people are rude, and your basically paying $52,000 for concrete</p>
<p>so that means if they post on monday… (the 7th) decisions should come out thursday (the 10th)!!</p>
