HAhah yeah I thought it was going to be super late, too.

bescraze, how was it confirmed by admissions? did you call and ask? D:

Are you serious? That's the day after Duke and Berkeley. This will either be a wonderful, fulfilling break, or a week of torture.

^It won't just be torture. If all goes wrong, it could also be armageddon.

Btw I like your username.

Wow. It takes alot to go through 30,000 apps!!!

who got this confirmed? how do you know its the 27th???

this was my guess for when they'd come out. still though, that claim is unsubstantiated.

Excellent! Another tidbit of (currently unsubstantiated) news from the CC grapevine.

last time there was news like this, it ended up being terribly wrong (uchicago board). how about this, everyone: it will happen when it happens. period.

anyone got proof about the 27th? i am about to HATE this week. berkeley+duke already. and then stanford?

NO :( i can't take that :/

Well, they did release SCEA decisions 3 days early, on a friday, ruining/making many weekends.

Why not finish the RD round a little early? Doing it on a wednesday is a great way to make the 90+% of kids rejected upset when they come into school the next day and see that their friends got in or having to take a test with this on their shoulders.

HAVE MERCY STANFUUUURD! =]

^Stanford's mercy is like making 7.5% to 7.6%

:( we are so screwed

march 27th? nice! at least it's on friday!

If this turns out to be false, like the UChicago lie, I'm going die of pure stress. Realizing that decisions weren't coming out was unbearable!

That being said, I really hope it is the 27th. That's around when I figured it would/should be.

Yes, the Ivy reply date is so cruel - smack in the middle of the week, when all our nosy little peers can interrogate us. Needless to say, I would prefer the 27th.

i dont know if i could take that rejection before the weekend. but at the same time, i do hope that it is the 27th. i'm going to steal a friend's iphone and check, since i wont be near a computer at the time:(

i'm just going to pretend like its the 1st and stress then. if it comes the 27th, i will still have a heart attack, but i would rather not stress about it on friday and then not get it. it would be such a waste of a day :(

We'll find out Stanford's decisions within the next couple days (maybe, even earlier than expected).

I think I have a way to get admitted into Stanford if they actually release admissions on april 27 and I don't get accepted.
On Stanford's website, they said that decisions will be released on april 1st but if they are released before say on april 27th, I'll sue them.
Since I already knew I was going to be rejected, I was emotionally down and was bracing myself to receive the rejection letter on april 1st only for me to receive it on april 27th without being fully psychologically prepared. As a result I will be suing them for damages and for not keeping to their word. I will get a very good lawyer to put forward my case.
As a compensation, I'll demand that Stanford admit me and I won't pay any fees for my whole four years.
Just thought of it though and it seems like a great plan though I don't plan on doing it.

Did anybody ever call again and ask about Friday????
