Yes, as a chicagoan, I relish in the idea of knowing before people who live in, say California.

Which is why I might get it on the 13th because they send it out on the 13th in order to get it to everyone else by the 15th . . . .

Ach...5 more days...

im assuming you meant they send it out on the 11th right? if so, has this publicly been posted somewhere?

So, if you are in Chicago, you shall recieve mail on the same day it was posted, given that it is posted in Chicago? Sounds unrelatistic to me...

hehe... that'd be really cool. tho unlikely. i dont think our PO is that good. yet.

Well, I give up. I will just expect it to come on Friday with, hopefully, my MIT decision (like that will pan out :P)!

I called them and they said they are sending them early next week.

so, no saturday! and probably on 15 th for us, non chicagoans

15th is creeping behind us.....ah! 5 more days....This Wednesday, we shall either cry tears of joy or despair.

I wonder if anyone will get their packet/letter tomorrow like last year's EA applicants supposedly did.

Of course the U of C admissions staff aren't telling the truth to keep the supsense and give greater suprise. I've heard throughout these forums they'd be sent "early in the week" or even sent on the day of the 15th. I have a feeling some of us might receive it tomorrow or tuesday....

Why would they disperse lies that make their institution look incompetent, shiftless, and tardy?

Because as the dean of admissions said, they'll do what they damn want :)

Let me rephrase: why would they want to disperse lies that make their institution look incompetent, shiftless, and tardy?

So that when we get in, we will love it even more....and also what fortune said.
