Countdown to June 2010 SAT Scores/Results Thread

@ 1253729 - the chances of your proposed CR: almost zero

^ Someone’s humor detector is broken.

A) Why do you say so?
B) What are you predicting?

My bad…

My CR prediction

67 800
66 800
65 800
64 800
63 780

Math

800
780-790
750-760
730-740
720
710
700

Writing I dunno

I’m probably gonna stay up till 2 am to see my score. I live on the west so I get my scores at 2 haha.

the past few curves have been very harsh, it is unlikely that there will be -2 800 for CR

Perhaps thats because the past few tests have been very easy compared to previous tests? This test, on the other hand, felt pretty hard, especially the SC portion of the CR. I guess we will all see in about 1 day and 5 hours…

Each SAT is extrinsic to the next so predicting that the curve will be “easy” based on previous tests is illogical.

Correct. But comparing the difficulty of one test to previous released tests, and then predicting the curve makes logical sense…

I think easy was being used to mean forgiving.

I hope the curve is generous… Haha

Happy birthday to me! I just turned 16. Let’s see if the College Board decides to give me a good birthday present ;)

^ Happy Birthday.

^ Thanks :)

Happy 16th fledgling. Hopefully you get your learner’s permit/driver license soon! And wouldn’t it technically be a belated birthday present? Anyways, good luck, though I’m sure you’ll do fine.

Hey can anyone tell me when the results are going to be out…in GMT?

1pm GMT :P

1pm GMT?

Weren’t they going to release the results at 5am EST which means 9am GMT?

that’s y i’m confused bro…it’s supposed to be 9am GMT but the collegeboard website says 8 am EST

i don’t get it. when are the scores released? one person’s saying 9amGMT, one’s saying 1pmGMT
