Oh, and who took the November SSATs?
I’m just wondering~

Thanks guys! I have Exeter and Andover (I scheduled all of them in one wave but they didn’t have any slots open.)

I took the november ssat, and it was way better than the october…Good luck with your interviews CherryRose!

Thanks, magusalex!

So I was online, searching March 10th, and guess what I found?! March 10th is the International Day of Awesomeness!!! [The International Day of Awesomeness! March 10th, Every Year](http://dayofawesomeness.com/) Corny… but perhaps meaningful for us bunch! :D

I still have st marks groton milton middlesex concord and deerfield all in a week in boston

wow haha good luck!

awesome! haha…

yah I might need it and 3 more schools in CA between the 12th and the 15th

Wow, good luck

When the schools post the app due dates, is it just for the application itself or everything (recs, test scores, interview, EVERYTHING) to be in? This is really important…

The stress is getting to me. :(

@CherryRose - generally it’s for everything, however many schools accept interview after the deadline if you have submitted the rest of your application. (I’m doing this at 3 schools).
Test scores normally get to them by the date if you take the test in january or before, it was fine fore me last year.
Recs, im not 100% sure, but I think its fine if the recs are a little late because it isn’t in your control. Your teachers will likely send forms in on the deadline if you tell it to them.
I know that some schools have grades that close after the deadline and that’s ok too. I have 2 friends and their schools have first semester exams after the deadline and now they both go to exeter so clearly that was fine.
is anyone taking the January SSAT? i am, and im paranoid!!! its going to be my only time taking it this year and im stressing.

I already took the SSAT, and I did pretty good, I got 98 overall. 96-reading, 98-verbal, 89-math
I was just wondering; in 7th grade I got all As and one C, I had recently moved to a new school and my teacher gave me two days to do a project that the rest of the class had a month to work on… It was a book packet on a book I hadnt read. The rest of my grades for 7th and 8th grade were all As. I have a lot of sports and extra ciriculars. Do you think that this would affect my chances of getting in?

*98-math sorry
and Im applying for Culver Academies, Exeter, Andover, Miss Porters, and Middlesex.
I kinda have a hook, which is i am fluent in Serbian and French, and I am technically an international student because my passport is from Serbia.

*preppieeffy - *you did pretty WELL not GOOD
No you’re fine with that C if you explain it. I’m assuming that you’re applying for the 10th grade so it’s far enough back that it doesn’t really matter much.

Oh, hmmm. That makes me an international student too. Isn’t it based on primary residency, though?

CherryRose-I asked my admissions counselor and she said that I would be considered an international student.

Ehphant-Im applying for the 9th grade. And grammatical error noticed, thanks.

Oh nice. Well, newly minted international student here!
It’s funny to think of myself as one of the minority, somehow.

Haha(:
Same here.
But I consider it something that distinguishes you from another applicant with similar credentials.

…bump…:D

I live on the East Coast U.S. and my family just found out that my dad is getting a new job in Canada!
Hence me frantically putting together boarding school applications starting the month before they’re due, taking the SSATS this Saturday for the first time and having all my interviews in the coming two weeks…Wish me luck!
Oh and please chance me I have a thread in the chances page!
