If you visit decision.mit.edu , you'll find that they've announced the date for decisions!

Let's all use this place to collectively stress out/have fun/talk!

They posted it on the blog: [BREAKING NEWS! | MIT Admissions](BREAKING NEWS! | MIT Admissions)

That made me lol XD

MIT Admissions just emailed me the date!
Check your email account!

This is all coming to an exciting (and an intimidating?) climax! Hope it goes well – hopingforbetter!!:)

What time was uall’s message sent?

Oh my god, I know have to download evanl’s “MIT Live” app, the only app to provide a countdown to the decision release !

^^Hahahaa right!! I agree and I am now doing it:p:p

I got the email 20minutes ago!

But it doesn’t mean anything.
Don’t think of conspiracies that might stress you out (more).

@hopingforbetter if you end up downloading that app, tell me if it really works
Because the website hides a few secrets… When you click “Support”, a mail is sent at “<a href="mailto:support@yourdomain.com”>support@yourdomain.com" –> yourdomain.com does not exist, proof that he copy/pasted part his website’s source code (without noticing anything… lol), the “Twitter page” of the app is in fact MIT News’ official twitter page, and the “Facebook page” of the app is in fact the MIT Admission Page.
Oh, and there’s a nice comment in the “Message from the developer” section : “I made that app while I was studying for my IB and SAT exams, therefore my app is not perfect nor are my exams results”. LOL.

All this leads me to believe that his app is not even working, and that he just created a fake website to show the adcoms ;)

I think MIT adcoms WILL find those mistakes too!!

God!! These are really funny!! For Evan: Stupidity at peaks

good luck guys.
I am so excited to get rejected.

^My thoughts exactly!

rofl lai tuaaaan

I found a pic of someone’s rejection page, and I edited it so that it was addressed to me. I will be reading this every day to prepare myself for Pi day so that it won’t sting as much…

Man, don’t do that… You should enjoy your last week of MIT dream !
Btw guys, the USA will go on Daylight Savings Time this weekend, so decisions will come out at 6:28 EDT, and not 6:28 EST !

A Real countdown…
[Countdown to Mar 14, 2013 in Boston](<a href=“Countdown to Mar 14, 2013 in Boston”>Countdown to Mar 14, 2013 in Boston)

On Friday, March 14, at 6:28PM (or thereafter), only 1 in 10 of us will be reading:

“On behalf of the Admissions Committee…” followed by a page-long note.

The other 9 of us will instead see:

“The Admissions Committee…” followed by what appears to be approximately less than half a page of text.

Prepare thyself, the time is nigh…

May the odds be ever in your favor !

Good luck, guys!!

Good luck everyone!

I edited the countdown clock so it ends at 6:28pm on 3/14. This is just a more exact countdown. <a href=“Countdown Timer – Time since Mar 14, 2013 6:28 pm started in Boston”>Countdown Timer – Time since Mar 14, 2013 6:28 pm started in Boston;
