Countdown to RD Notification

does princeton notify by email?
or do you have to wait for the mailman? (i guess that makes it even more fun :D)

You have to wait for the mailman. It's nervewracking but oddly more gratifying...

Mailman IS more gratifying...there's just something more REAL about getting an actual letter in the mail, with nice paper and everything. Plus, there's more tension..."is the mail there yet? is the letter there?"

...I'm almost making myself regret telling Harvard they could email me. OH WELL, I know that come decision time I'll just want to know...

I'll be such a wreck come April 1st. Six out of my ten colleges will be sending their decisions that day, so I'll either spend the 2nd at home, compulsively burning things and drinking tea, or at school.

arg. lalala. i am a green camel.

Isn't April 1 a friday? That means I probably won't hear from Princeton until April 4th. Bah...hopefully I'll have other acceptances to keep me happy until then :)

April 1 is april fool's day. Did it ever occur to anyone that colleges might fool admitted students into thinkin they've been rejected and then sending the correct decision a day later? Nah I didn't think so either.......

entropicgirl-- you can change whether or not you want an email by logging in under your pin number at the harvard admissions site.

52 days!!!

Babybird! I see you've switched boards... Oh well, I understand. Though, you are missed! :o

i haven't switched! no one on the gtown board is talking anymore...:(

i still <3 you all

I know... the Gtown board has quieted down. Out of necessity, I had to migrate over to the Brown board (and occassionally Dartmouth). And in general, I'm just posting less. :o

Good luck with Princeton, babybird!

50 days!!!!

That's really not very long. May those acceptance letters roll out soon (knock on wood).

yeah, gluck calidan!

50 days is really not long at all, i agree. especially when you consider how many actual school days we have left. craziness! i haven't done it yet, but it's probably around 20 something.

50 days!! thats it?
wow
and it might take me half of those days to figure out how to file taxes correctly so i can fill in my FAFSA form...
126 days (inc weekends and holidays) until HS Graduation.. sigh...

107 until graduation for me.
97 until end of classes

25 school days until decisions
56 school days left in all. Wheee

25 days?! dont they send out like April 1st i thot?

Only 25 real days left now...

I live close enough to Princeton (1 1/4 hour away), so maybe I'll get the Princeton letter a day earlier, on thursday... so it's only TWENTY-FOUR days!!!

Thursday's March 31. But you'll probably get in April 1 while I'll wait until April 4. Blah

Why would you have to wait until April 4? We only live like 20 minutes away.

Edit: Wait, I just remembered how slow the mailing service is in NYC, if that's the reason. My teacher, who lives in Manhattan, drops off mail to be delivered to Manhattan at the post office in the suburbs, rather than in Manhattan because this is actually faster.
