i definitely think i improved. i hope. because after the jan and april test, i remember feeling i dont think i did well and it was hard etc, and i didnt do as well as i had hoped, and after the oct one, i was like, man this is easy! and was relaxed through the whole thing.

That's awesome...that's how I felt in June (after April) and I did improve... good luck!!

I'm conflicted because I think I did really well on the CR passages for ex. but I think I got like alllll of the vocab wrong. For math I left way more blank than I usually do so it'll depend on how well I did on the others...I just hate not knowing.

I'm waiting for Chem scores, so technically I shouldn't be loitering around with you types ;) but, I'm really anxious too! I stayed up in April for my SAT I's, but I think this time I'll try to catch a few hours of sleep.

Well... Going with the fact that we will average about 12-14 hours of sleep through the next 2 days.. we have about 25 hours left. And since this day is almost over we have only 1 day left. Woot!

My essay was about a page and 1/2 and I wound up w/an 8. I definately would've done better if I had time to write a conclusion. I ran into a similar problem on the Oct SAT, but I feel that my essay was a bit better overall.

My friend said that he increased his score from an 8 on his first try to a 10 on his second try by writing an outline in the essay booklet. I wish I knew about this before the Oct test, otherwise I would've tried it.

The essay is a double-edged sword. It is a great opportunity for people who write well under time-constraints to show their stuff, but most people feel that not enough time is provided for the essay to really write anything spectacular... I believe the ACT gives 30 minutes while the SAT gives only 25... 5 minutes may not seem like much, but it usually gives me enough time to write another half-page and even proofread some of my essay.
