The consensus for the math curve seems to be that it’s going to be medium to harsh, but what about writing and critical reading? I know it’s completely pointless to try to guess but I’m jw what you guys think

@Oscarlany, I thought that the writing was pretty easy so the curve will probably be harsh. Reading was a little tougher in my opinion, so I’m hoping for an easy curve. I’ll guess we’ll find out soon enough though :)

@Studious

Dude, I really hope you get a perfect score.

From what I’ve read in some of the actual result threads, perfect scorers are practically guaranteed admission to their dream schools- as long as the rest of their applications match up (grades, extracurriculars, etc.). I bet you know this already!

If you only missed one on CR, that is definitely an 800 – even if you missed 2, that’s still 9 times out of 10, an 800. Math – you’re good to go. So it all depends on your writing score…hmm, that’s interesting.

How good do you feel about your essay?

If you get a 10+ and don’t miss any questions, that’s an 800. I think you’d need at least an 11 if you missed one question. (Last March I missed 2 on writing, which was a 790 with a 12 essay. Logically, it would be an 800 if I had just missed one.)

Then again, we may not know about every mistake we made on the test. Still- you’re so close! If I were you, I’d be dead from anticipation by now.

Best of luck :)

Ugh why are people saying writing was easy? I felt it was more on the tricky side than past writing tests…

I really hope there’s a good math curve. That always seems to be my lowest score.

CR was kind of tricky, but I think I might have done okay. I’m kind of worried about writing because I had writing twice in a row and the second writing section was the real one, but for some reason, during the test, I was convinced the second one was the experimental. I remember that I thought I did better on the first one, but I guess I’ll see.

Senior, last sat ever I’d say. And no I will not miss it. …unless I scored terribly, in which case I’ll cry.
…I told myself id maintain a spirit of apathy going into this batch of results, but the day before is upon us and massive anxiety has taken over. Oh this sucks.

@catch: Thanks for the support! You can bet that I’ve been running various situations through my head. I do think the 800 W will depend on my essay score. I filled up both pages (to the last line) and used two in-depth examples (involving Locke and the expansion of the Roman Empire). I’m really hoping for an 11-12, and I feel pretty good about it. Aren’t you also looking for a 2300+ or higher? Best of luck to you!

OMG This is driving me crazy.
This is the first time and the last time I take the test, because I will apply for the EA of Yale and other schools.
Hoping to get above 2000 points.
Should I stay up late tonight? btw, I’m living in Japan now, so about what time in Japan will the score be released?

me too. I hope I can get from 1800~2200
good luck^^

@HarveyMuddLove and ShineSoBright: I’m taking SAT Subject Test in November too. I will take Japanese and Math 1. Good luck!

16 more hours! I don’t know know what to feel right now. Kind of nervous, scared, excited, etc…

So should the scores be out around 5 tomorrow morning?

I’m scared. My chances on getting into schools depends on these scores!

@26antara: I thought that you could get them online at midnight?

Idc about writing I just want a 1450+ for engineering at UIUC!!! I wanna fill the priority app.

it’s coming…

oh my gosh this is killing me. I’m going to get up early at about 5 to check my scores. Anyone with me? :P

I’m not waking up early but my laptop sits on my bed so it’ll be ready to look at when I wake
