Countdown towards February 12th

RELAX! We’re all getting in.

I wish.

Sadly, 17,000 applicants won’t.

Good luck everybody.

6 Days !!!

YEAH! let’s have a + mind! at least that can help.

A positive mentality can lead to the realization of false hope, an illusion, which causes one to actually feel even that much more stressed. At least this happens from my perspective.

Good luck everyone, hopefully everyone stressed enough to go on CC will get in. :)

@Sohini100 - my D applied for Fall…

5 days left :)

The anticipation is killing me! I really hope we all get in.

I have a question…most statistic sites say UF’s admissions rating is at ~40 percent, so does that include only the admitted students that matriculated? If it doesn’t include the ones who enroll, then is the real admission rate at ~60 percent, or what?
EDIT: This is keeping in mind that less then ~70% of admitted students enroll. Realistically, some probably got admitted to Ivies or applied just to see if they could get in.

40% is the overall acceptance rate for the November 1st and the after November 1st deadlines. I’d probably say the admission rate for the first deadline is around the mid 40s, though, since almost everyone gets rejected in the second deadline. If you want to know about the enrolled percentage (yield rate), it’s something around 60% or so.

Okay, now I understand. I’ll thank you in spite of the fact that your input is making me even more nervous.
Sooo thanks… D: lol

I’m freaking ouuuut. If I get in, I’m going to Gainesville for the weekend to celebrate! :D

LOL, went to sign in just before and its funny, the system is down right now :)

So where do we click on February 12th to get our decision? Check application status I’m guessing?

you check at
admissions.ufl.edu
then at the bottom click where it says check your status at UF.

You have to sign in of course.

So close, yet so far…and I thought water-boarding was torture!

3 days left  not long now!

Ah, you’re being prepared for what you’ll experience on the 12th. Lagtastic! Last year I was able to find out like 45 minutes early though.

Funny that I’m more excited about this year’s admissions decisions than my own last year because of the potential of my friends coming.

Good luck, guys!

Cant wait, this is it, I either make it or not. Best of wishes to all, hopefully we all get in.

I am so nervous!!!, good luck everyone :)
