COUNTDOWN until Oct SAT scores!

so hard it is for me to wait the score

i have no doubt that you aced the writing section

unfortunately, nothing but a -0 and 0 omit on math will likely yield a 800 on math

My scores come out right before I submit my ED apps…

i want my scores!! but my EA apps are due two days after, so there’s no rushing the time from now to then… (essays not done :()

SAME

i was going to apply EA but decided not to precisely because my essays aren’t ready. this really sucks.

too early
10char

It’s my first time taking the SATs, and I’ve no idea what to expect honestly (i.e. whether I’ll be laughing/crying come Oct 29 lol). Anyone else feels that way?

@escapistchick: i feel exactly the way you feel… OMG i don’t think i’ll be able to wait more for the result X(

me three. I really have no idea what to expect when I get those results. For now, I’m trying not to have any expectations at all, that way I can’t be disappointed. 16 more days!

It is 15 days, 14 hours, 14 minutes and 25 seconds until Thursday, October 29, 2009 (Washington DC time)

COUNTING DOWN…
SCARED-
every day different people ask me how the sats went?
every day i tell a diffrent answer
day of sat -2200+
2nd day- 2100 ish
3rd day- maybe 2100
4th day- i think i failed!

to escapistchick: I feel the same way. I took WH and MAth II in june, but it wasnt the same. Reasoning test is much more important to get a generous scholarship. Moreover, I could save some money if I scored over 600 and even more if I’m over 650, which is a great motivation…(Because I wouldnt have to send my TOEFL scores to all schools, but only to some of them).

@ blissfulting

EA stuff isn’t due til Nov 1st dude…

You’ve got plenty of time to get your essays done

@nelesy: Right! I’m trying to not have any expections at all to avoid the disappointment… But I swear just the thought alone is driving me a wee bit bonkers lol.

@cermi: How did the WH go? I’m taking that this Dec eeek. And does scoring over 600-650 (per section?) really increase the chances of a scholarship? Wow I didn’t know that.

UGH, about 16 days more? Meh.

I scored 800 on Math II and 770 on WH. Dunno if it helps but these are fairly good scores, imo.

I’ll be happy with 1900+ but I reaaaally want 2000. Really don’t know what to expect though. I’m fully prepared to resit in January.

At least it’s only about 16 days instead of 2 months like for APs/PSATs. Waiting two months sucks. Why do they take so long to grade PSATs, anyway?

does anyone know around what time the scores will be posted online? around morning/afternoon/night?

^5 am eastern, 2 am pacific time

Haha, the wait is definitely pretty killer especially if you’re riding on this SAT score to give you an edge in the admissions process. Granted that you have a good rank, GPA, AP scores, and E.C., having a good SAT score is imperative and it is nerve-wracking when you don’t know whether your scores will be good enough or not. I mean, I personally know that I definitely missed a couple questions, but a “couple” might equate to like 10 questions when scores actually come out. The mystery of it all certainly is terrifying.
