countdown until we recieve nov. SAT scores

Jrock,I envy your Physics score!

thx. i'm still very dazed and so very very happy, thank God!!! tho i was aiming for 800s in phy and math, i was half-expecting it in reality!! a pleasant shock...

lol... aiming for "800s"?

thank god for my old sat score. please reassure me that most colleges are accepting the old sat.

foodisgood, i would really check with the invidividual schools. I know the ones i applied to the new SAT is mandatory

800 cr / 710 w / 650 m

both math and writing went down since march. f***ing essay.

i'm really disappointed.

700 Cr/770 m/ 800 w

when you put together my 800 cr from may, I now have a 2370!!
goes dance in the shower

I've done well !
Maths Level I - 800
Maths Level II-800

I got 2100 on my SAT I (CR Screwed me up)
Do you think my scores are good enough for any of the Ivies.
Also do I have to give any other SAT Subject tests as I'll be applying for a course in Mathematics.

Those with high writing scores...what did you put for the Iraq question and the sucessful flight question?

-1 78 would be a curve of unprecedented harshness. -2 last month was a 77

I gave my SAT I in October

Damn !
When I go to the "View Scores" Section I can c my marks but when I c my Score report it says my marks r not available and I should check back later. ***

What was the Iraq question? I put "successful flight" for that writing question. I got 80 MC btw.

talking about realllllly disappointed

cr: 470
m: 670
w:660
total: 1800

Your disappointed ?! Look at my scores !

Total:1700
m:590
cr:570
w:540
..seriously, I'm about to cry, God I hate Standardized tests

no but i was counting on 1950+. i think going to get a rescore. LOOK AT THAT CRITICAL READING SCORE!!!!!

yea you really should consider doing that, but maybe you bubbled in your answers wrong or something, because that score just doesn't fit with your others

yeah. does anyone know the price and number when asking for a rescore.

I know I shouldn't be repeating myself on posts, but I'm kind of having a breakdown here and I'd really appreciate any and all advice.

Here are my scores from my November SAT (first try):
Math: 770
CR: 800
Writing: 800
ESSAY: 10

SATII MathIIC: 800

My math balances out with my MathIIC so I'm not worried about that but there's that 10 essay that really REALLY annoys me because I know I can do better. My question is about whether or not I should retake it. My dream is to get into Stanford or Yale (I'm a junior right now). I'm also thinking about applying to one of those super-competitive 7-year med programs that are impossible to get into and that put a lot of emphasis onto a person's writing ability during the admissions process. I don't know if I'm capable of getting another two 800s again, but it's just that it's a 10 and I know a lot of schools like the essay portion (such as the UCs which are the reason they changed the SAT anyways and which I am definitely applying to). Then again, I don't wanna seem overly number-oriented by retaking a 2370 (which is pretty much a dream come true except for that essay score). Any ideas?

sigh...i only went up 10 points in writing....do you think its worth rush scoring to my ED school? I already put on the app that I would taking it nov.
