Very impressive Math Level I score, Chahal.

To the guy who got a 2370: shut the hell up. 10 v 12 means nothing.

BTW, the Iraq question was the very last one on the test. What did you get for that one?

pipeline, what if you started filling in the bubbles, one row before/after the correct spot, so it shifted a section of your answers one down/up. (thats always been a nightmare of mine)

but u should ask if they will take that into consideration when they rescore it... if not, that will not do anything to ur score

yeah even though it says that ur scores aren't ready, they still might be posted
mine were, i just went ahead and checked them despite the notice

go to My Organizer > click on "registrations completed"

tell me if that (doesn't) works

OMG Jenny thank you! My score was 20 points below my goal, but oh well!

740 verbal
800 math
740 writing

Now I need an honest opinion. I was expecting a near perfect writing, bringing my composite to a 2380+, so I'm a little upset. But my composite is now 800 CR, 800 M, 740 WR. Should I even apply to HYP? Are they giving more weight to the M+CR scores? Please give an honest opinion!

Do I need to take any other SAT -II's other tham Maths if I want admission in a Mathematics Course at Penn.

as a Math major, you'd prolly be in the College at Penn, and all applicants to the College {arts and sciences} are encouraged (of course this means required nearly all the time) to take a SAT II Foreign language.....and for science-related fields, they stipulate a Science SAT II - phy, chem or bio....

so if you can, try to take a science (more important), and if possible, a for. lan.

OMG d3ity give it a break. Of course you should still apply to HYP! Even if they weighted writing equally you should still apply! Your writing score situates you probably in the middle of their averages. Of course, your critical reading and math scores are at the top.

Everybody's opinion please: Is it dishonest to say you have perfect SAT scores when you have a perfect composite from different administrations? I want to tell my mother who laughed at me when I told her I would break 1500 on the old SAT "I have perfect SAT scores."

I'm pretty sure now that they correct answer for the Iraq question was choice A, which is B.S. Writing is a crock of s**t. Maybe I'm just bitter ;-).

when i compared answers here i thought i did very bad in verbal. Since alot of my answers were different. Dunno how it came to a 770 since I literally just bsed it.

Anyway how much do colleges look at writing? I didnt do so great there so I am worried.

Lixuelai

Check out the sticky thread at the top of SAT/ACT board, if you haven't already.

Yeah s'vrone, colleges will see your score as a 2400, so no harm in saying you got one. I'm telling people I got a 2340; if they don't like it, they can suck one.

Sorry for asking that lame question. It was sort of in the heat of the moment...I was expecting Writing section to be 770+, so I was upset with Iraq and Fue. But THE SAT IS DONE FOREVER!!! NEVER IN A MILLION YEARS DID I THINK I WOULD SCORE PERFECTS IN BOTH THE MATH AND THE VERBAL!!!

Congrats to all who met their goals.

yes!!! scores went up 70 points overall! i was aiming for 2200 but i'm happy so ets can go screw itself! :)
no more sats for me ever!!!!

congrats to everyone who is happy and sympathy to those who are not!

just a suggestion to people though: it's great that everyone's aiming high, but don't get so down on yourself when you don't get the score you predicted because it's still a good score, and if not, sats and sat iis aren't everything!! :)

I want to cry. I HATE you SAT thanks for ruining my chances at anywhere I wanted to go to!

WOW, some of you people are so melodramatic! My scores:

710 CR
700 M
800 W

My math score went down, but all I wanted was to raise my CR a little bit so I'm happy!

I hate you, ETS.

Hmm, looks like my score went DOWN by 90 points. (****ed)

Math 780 --> 690 (how?)
Reading 690 --> 670
Writing 670 --> 690 (NOT worth the retake)

Composite: 2160

Oh well, good thing I'm not really applying anywhere that I'm not going to get into anyways..

800 Math, 800 Critical Reading. Only 750 Writing (7 essay), but I already had that 800. Booyah. I'm done.

So Mr. SAT pimp,

Are you going to tell people you ask that you got a 2400?

nice sentiment, but that doesn't make up for the 70 hours i spent in sat class (and the $1400 my parents paid) trying to get my scores up from 2120. 40 points isn't much of an improvement, considering.

i did everything right and it still didn't work. i really can't win, can i?

what a f***ing waste of time.

edit: 800/710/650, by the way.

celebrian: what did u get?
