yeah thats the feeling i get also valikor.

Sorry, maybe someone already asked this -- are we expecting to see offiical COMPOSITE PERCENTILES tommorow??

You get scores (200-800). You have to wait 2 weeks for percentiles and number wrong, etc.

lol, when did they put up the scores by midnight??

it would suck to get a 2400 but to have low SAT IIs...really screw ya up...especially if you were planning on sending ACT and just too the SAT on a whim!

Argh. Honestly, I don't care about my composite. I just want 700+ on CR, and, sadly, it's been somewhat hard for me.

10h22

what's the diff between scores and percentiles? :S

and which do we send to the school?

around 9 hrs 30 minutes....whew!!! cant wait!

Score is what you get (600-2400), percentile is how you do in comparison to other test takers.

so, like there are people that get 600s? since its a curve thingy, is there a same amount of people getting 600 as 2400??

Couldn't you theoretically get a 0? Answering every single one wrong?

Hm. You always hear about the people who get 2400s, but not the ones who get 600. I bet it takes a mild amount of skill to get 600, but those people don't get any credit!

I think the only way to get a 600 is to know every answer on the test. Think about it.

You could just be really, really lucky and not too bright.

Is there going to be a chat room set up for those people who are staying up to see their scores? Last time I took the SAT this was done, so I figured it'd be cool.

Actually, s'vronne, the chances of that occuring are about

(1/5)^200+ questions on a test.

Evolution from a molecule of hydrogen is more likely.

There was this graduate from MIT and he still managed a 620. He got a math question right. (Figures right? MIT.)

If I knew how the scoring at the bottom of the scale worked, it'd make more sense. Do you have to get every single question wrong or omitted to make a 600? Wouldn't a correct answer be cancelled out by all of the wrong answers?

ckmets, i am not suprised a CC member like yourself would miss a joke :)

"They write the date with the day before the month

wow you would think someone on college confidential would know that"

Oh well one can never be too sure. Might jinx myself :P

God im so superstitious now.

Actually, you bring up a very good point. Omiting each one is probably an easier way.

I apologize for not thinking about that.

"Colleges get a copy of your essay in the score report"

I sure hope that isnt true... I called Bush an idiot... and im applying to west point!
