Counterargument?

Can someone please explain to ne how to incorporate a counterargument in the essay? Thanks for the help!

The counter argument will be necessary because you plan to include some typical arguments that the essay reader might raise to contradict your thesis position. Is that right?

Keep in mind that you have 25 minutes, and that you need two or three examples to support your thesis. To bring up arguments and counterarguments in that space and time period does not seem like a safe strategy in the SAT. A well developed false-argument/counter-argument cycle can easily consume 100 words, or even more. Perhaps you’re a fast thinker/writer and this is not an issue. My advise it that you keep the essay straightforward.
