^ yup they did. I think towards the end though.

yeah…october 22nd was the first round of decisions.

I am so nervous too. I got into Michigan and Indiana in October and Illinois is my final “midwest school”…I’m from Connecticut and I really want to go to a Big Ten School!! SO NERVOUS!
so does anyone know if Illinois is REALLY strict with the December 11th at 5PM Central…cause…I REALLY don’t think I can wait that long…ARGH!
Also, I am applying to the business school, does anyone know if, like Indiana, Illinois sends out acceptance to the business school later or if you are accepted on 12/11 it means u are accepted automatically into the business school??
AHHH!

They’ve been very prompt in releasing the decisions the past couple of years.

Good luck to all!!! :D

@Laurenzo92:

Did u also apply to Ross for michigan?? Cause they started sending out decisions for Ross last week for people who got in first round!!

For Illinois, I think everyone who applied early gets a decision on December 11th, so Business would give you a decision on that date!! Good Luck to you!

Mi2014: Yea i applied. I got “deferred”, but I would take that anyday over rejection :D.
Did u apply as well?

OK, as was mentioned in another thread, the decision line in the application status check is now gone. I was wondering how they “loaded” all the decisions up at 5 pm on december 11th. Well the answer is that they don’t. They’re loading the decisions out over the next 9-10 business days, then on the 11th at 5pm they’ll allow the decision line to display during the web page generation. That way the decisions get loaded piecemeal, but just aren’t available for viewing until they “throw the switch” (allow the decision line to display) at 5:00pm on the 11th.

@Laurenzo92:

Hey i would also take a deferral anyday…haha. Anyways, yes i applied and already got accepted!! Im pretty excited since it was one my top schools. So how about Illinois, is it one of your top schools you wanted to get into??

Should one still see application status: Complete ready for reveiw or should that not appear?

^ That’s what my app status says, and the decision box is gone.

^
Decision box… hmmm I don’t remember seeing it. I think this means that my fee waiver was postmarked for priority date. Let me check again.

I don’t see my decision box either. Does this mean I’ve met the priority date or is the box jusg gone for all applications in general? I’m really nervous about finding out whether I’ve been accepted, deferred, or denied.

^ Doesn’t it say priority? They’re done making decisions for priority so if it says regular, looks like you’re waiting till february =/

^
Wow really? Well no it doesn’t say priority eventhough all my material were met by the Nov 1st deadline besides fee waiver which was dated as being received like Nov 13th, though I couldn’t imagine my counsler sending such out so late and not postmarking it as I had my material sent out to the school early October.

Waiting until Feb would be awful, well maybe I’ll hear from other schools like UMN ( BU etc…) sometime between Dec and Feb.

^ Coolbrezze, if your decision box is gone, it means that they are updating your decision and showing everyones on December 11th. You’ve made the priority!!!

I’m pretty sure it still says “Priority.”

Nervous!

9 days. Can they go any slower…?

And I just love how Purdue’s giving out their decisions at the exact same date and time…

Just because your decision box is not there doesn’t mean you met priority. Mine was gone at times right after I applied. It will either say “Regular Admission” or “Priority Admission.” Coolbreeze, you likely missed the date if they got your Waiver on the 13th…

The “Admissions Type:” line in the “Check Application Status” app identifies whether you are a Priority or Regular Admission. That line is visible, so there should be no ambiguity regarding that. Decision lines have been removed for everyone regardless of Admissions Type.

@MI2014
Yea. Illinois is certainly up there with my top schools along with Michigan (and Virginia). The big draw about illinois is that they have the 4 year business programs…but if I get into Ross then Michigan will be hard to pass…but who knows anything can happen. I am so nervous just to hear about all of them.
Congrats on Ross btw!! That’s so exciting!!
