Counting down the days until December 11th

My admission type states regular admission.

Well, I’d say that you won’t be seeing a decision on the 11th then Cool. Sorry bout that.

Yeah thats just awful, I thought everything would be as the order I plan though unfourtantely my fee waiver was mailed out late.

@Laurenzo92:

Thanks!!! im really excited. I hope you get in Illinois!!! Best wishes.

Admission Type: Regular Admission
Application Status: Complete ready for review

But everything in by OCT 31.
Do I need to contact UIUC for this?

^yep…because they don’t agree with you apparently, or it would say priority admission.

Eight days bahhhhh

Ahhhh 8 more days. That’s 2x my favorite number, which is four… I hope you knew how to calculate that. If you didn’t, then you’re probably not applying engineering. :-)

I already got into my top choice, and I’m definitely going to Michigan…but I still can’t wait to hear back, and I hope I get in. Good luck everyone! Also, I’m applying to engineering :)

sooooooon sooon sooon

@Coolbrezze

I am really sorry about your situation :frowning: The same thing happened to me with the other school except it was the transcript problem… so I know how much it sucks to be expecting a decision soon and find out that you won’t know till next year. Good luck in RD!!! :(

As for me, I really hope I will be accepted. I don’t have good stats like others but I spent weeks on those 2 short statements.

yosup : just cancel your UIUC application, don’t waste a seat for those consider UIUC as top choice! :)

^ Not to be rude, but I kind of agree =/

It’s not rude. :slight_smile: s/he already got into top choice :)

yeah i agree
if your set on michigan , why bother taking up a spot in UIUC`s engineering program

Eh. Put it in perspective. If he put in the time to do the application he deserves to know if he gets in.

You keep all your options open until May 1st. He paid the application fee, let him get a decision.

he may pay application fee for 10 colleges, but only one is he really want to go. #1 decision was come out.

Even if that guy did cancel his application, it probably would not impact any admissions decisions. There is obviously a limit to how many students UI will accept; however, one or two cancellations here and would be nothing relative to the thousands they accept.

Its not like he’s bound to Michigan, so he doesn’t have any responsibility to cancel his app at all. Saying that he has to is just foolish.
