I am a senior in chemical engineering. I have 35 credits at my big university (U of Wa), and those are with a cummulative GPA of 3.56. I also have 126 credits at a local community college with a GPA of 3.88.

My question is, how do I write those GPA's on my transcript? Do you lump them all together and present 1 GPA, or do I present them in terms of the colleges?

Second, I am really struggling in a class this quarter and I am curious how bad a single class with a roughly 2.0 GPA would look on a transcript? I don't think I have a chance of failing, i'm putting too much time in, but I am not doing well. The department failing is a 0.7 anyways. Simply put, the class is not paying dividends. I have tried everything to do better but each exam is tricky. I have no plans of attending grad school or med school, so it's just for the job market as an undergrad that I am worried about.

Lastly, what is a solid chemical engineering GPA?

Thanks for the helpfuly suggestions/comments!
