1) For one of the major prerequisites, I took a class that I believe is relevant but isn't listed as an equivalent on ASSIST. I took Discrete Math, and the Berkeley class is CS 70: Discrete Math & Probability Theory. Should I list it in the additional comments?

2) If I'm using high school language classes to fulfill LOTE for IGETC, do I have to list them on the myBerkeley form?

1) If ASSIST does not show it as a relevant class, then it is not. I believe that’s the whole point of ASSIST – to show which classes at your school correspond with which classes at UCB.

2) If you’re using it for IGETC, you don’t have to put it in. There’s a box you can check under the IGETC section (before the L&S section).

I’m kind of in a similar situation except the course I took WAS articulated on assist.org under a subcategory that said “Other courses that satisfy the (biological science) requirement” and now I don’t know where exactly to list this course on the MyBerkeleyApp because it doesn’t necessarily line up with any of the given subcategories.

It is BIOL 102 and BIOL 101 for the Psychology major to fulfill the biological sciences requirement from Fullerton College to UC Berkeley.
On assist.org there was a subsection that said “Other courses that satisfy the (biological science) requirement” with those classes listed, now I just don’t know where to place them in the Myberkeleyapp.

@ocnative Yes I would list it under the biological sciences but there is no specific section for “Other courses that satisfy the requirement” from which I took the courses.

For example…
Below are a list of the subcategories given in which I can list the course I took.
Problem is, the course(s) I took weren’t articulated in any of these categories because they were in a category of their own called “Other courses that satisfy the (biological science) requirement”

General Biology with Lab, 1st sem or 1st qtr. (Cell, Genetics, Animal Form & Function)
General Biology, 2nd sem or 2nd qtr. (Plant Form & Function, Ecology, Evolution)
General Biology, 3rd qtr, if necessary.
Biology 11 (Intro to the Science of Living Organisms)
MCB 32 (Intro to Human Physiology)
MCB 61 (Brain, Mind, and Behavior)
