Couple questions about transferring to CHE as a sophomore?

Hi, I’m currently a freshman at my local (not community) college, and aspire to be a Nurse Practitioner.

I’m taking 17 credits:

Intro. to Statistics, Intro. to Chemistry w/ lab, Anatomy & Physiology 1 w/ lab, Intro. to Philosophy, and Composition 2.

I have a GPA of ~3.9.

I know that Cornell’s College of Human Ecology has an HSBS major, and it fits my personal and career goals extremely well. But I’ve noticed that to transfer as a sophomore, you have to have completed the following:

1.) 8 credits of Chemistry w/ lab (I’ve got this covered)
2.) 8 credits of Intro. to Biology w/ lab
3.) 6 credits of English Comp. (I got a 3 on AP Lit in high school and I’m taking Comp. 2 now, so I have this covered)
4.) 3 credits of Calculus (My college won’t let me take Calc. this year because I didn’t take AP Calc in high school, I only took honors)
5.) 3 credits of a social science (which I’m taking next semester)
6.) 3 credits of Statistics (I have this covered)
7.) 3 credits of Nutritional Sciences (My college won’t let me take this until I’ve completed A&P 2, so I can’t take it during my freshman year)
8.) Another 3 credits of a social science (I passed my AP Psych exam, so I have this covered also)

SO my questions are:

Will my 8 credits of A&P w/ labs transfer as a year long Intro. to Biology course? If not, will I not be able to transfer as a sophomore?

If my college won’t let me take Calculus or Nutritional Sciences yet because of their own pre-req requirements, will Cornell hold this against me?

Someone has to know something…bump?

This site used to be so helpful, what happened? Bump

See http://www.human.cornell.edu/registrar/requirements-and-policies.cfm
and go to the advanced placement cheat sheet. It appears that you must get a 5 on English APs to have them count as fulfilling the English requirement. It might be best to talk to someone at Cornell about your other questions…

You really should call Cornell and ask them.
