<li><p>I got an acceptance letter from 1 school so far (didnt hear anything from any other). A lot of kids that I talked to got their scholarship information with their acceptance letter…now the question is, it is normal to get receive the acceptance letter by itself and should I expect financial(scholarship/payment/aid info) info soon?? </p></li>
<li><p>I am a NY state resident…do I fill out the NYS TAP after I make they decision on what NYS school I will attend? </p></li>

<p>The financial information depends on the school. I applied to Rutgers and just got an acceptance letter. They send financial packages within a few weeks after acceptance, which may be similar with your school.</p>
<p>As for the second one, I don't know the answer.</p>
<p>You do not wait until you have made a decision to fill out the TAP. You could have filled it out immediately after you filled out the FAFSA. </p>
<p>Exactly when you will be informed of merit scholarships varies. As far as financial aid, some schools don't send that info out until April. Last year two of the schools informed my son of his merit scholarships at the same time as his financial aid package came.</p>
