<p>Several pages on McGill's website cite a course approval form, which the student would fill out to be reviewed by an advisor before registration. It says that the form will be available June 30. Has anyone seen/filled out this form?</p>

<p>no this was something more online. It was to be filled out and then approved by an advisor. I think this is a planning form... Not sure though!</p>

<p>course approval forms are completely useless, so are the advisors. pick the courses you want, you yourself make sure you meet all the pre-reqs, then email it to ur advisor for his approval, which is just a formality. if u have any questions, don't ask ur advisor unless it's paul olioff. if u have rosa colaianni, omg, email paul olioff and pretend he's your advisor. that's what i did my first year. i don't even know what rosa looks like. she's on vacation 2/3 of the year and when u do get an email response from her, it's either a) she's on vacation, b) she asks you the same question that you asked her or c) she doesn't reply at all. I never had to submit any course approval form. I was supposed to submit one for next fall but my departmental advisor says that nobody checks whether you do or not</p>
