I'm currently a student at a community college and wish to transfer to SFSU. One class (Microcomputer Assembly Language) is articulated as having a matching course on Assist.org, but is never offered by the community college. What should I do? What should I write on the application?

You could, but it may not make a difference. You should try to complete as many courses as you can before you transfer. If you are missing one or two (this is a literal one or two) classes, you can still be considered for admission. Keep in mind, you’ll have to take the class at some point after you transfer, and it may be a req course for your upper division courses. If it is, you would have to petition to take that class and the class after it, concurrently. If it’s not approved, you may have to wait a full school year, depending how the class rotation is.
