Course availability for transfers?

<p>I was accepted as a transfer student last week.</p>

<p>My main concern is with course availability. I looked online, and every single class I need/want to take is full. I am worried that I will be stuck with a wasted semester.</p>

<p>For those of you who are at UNC currently, could you please provide some insight on the registration process? Out of the 6 schools I've been accepted to, UNC is currently my top choice. However, I am worried about getting in classes for fall at this point, and if I won't be able to take required courses in the fall, it could sway my decision.</p>

It depends on what classes you are trying to take. There is a pretty high turnover rate in science classes. I know I was #22 on a waitlist for a large class a few days ago, and I am now in the class. There is also a lot of changing around during the first week of classes. I haven’t had too much trouble getting the classes I need.</p>

<p>I’m not sure when you would register for classes. I’m assuming at TSOP. When are the TSOP dates this summer?</p>
