I got that mail too!!
Anyways, we(my dad and I - together) have already ent a mail to GAtech telling them that our school cant sne dorig transcripts and they should refund me fee if they cant entertain me without that silly course eval by a particular person who must be paying a huge commision to Gatech!!! No offence plz!</p>

<p>well you know wat prachi i am pgoing to do exactly the same thing....although it was also pretty high on my list but how in the world can anyone take this non-sense!! i guess it says something abt the college....they just can't suddenly change their system...what about the students who have no access to the internet...they would have been informed by mail and everyone knows how much time that takes...also as everyone has noticed the instruction for external evaluation was mentioned in a little corner of their website and wasn't prominent at all...if they were that serious abt external eval they should have made a seperate application for intels...why the hell did they accept our school marks in the application at the first place??</p>
<p>in my conversation i told the associate director, "Honestly don't you think Georgia Tech will lose some very good international students whose parets aren't convinced enough to shell out more that $ 300 to apply?" ...and she said quite rudely, "Well its their problem. Their application won't be processed"...</p>
<p>Well, Gatech did mention it in the checklist for International Students and even after applying it was there in the Credentials Required tab. But your right about students who do not have access to internet.</p>
<p>I also agree that Gatech faculty acts real snobbishly. I have also applied, and got through, to RIT, and there the faculty is really nice to talk to and they help you in every possible way...!</p>

<p>they are definitely rude .... n if they dumb enough to not be able to figure out our marks .. well then they should get them evaluated themselves..</p>

<p>well i apart from gatech i have applied to Stanford, UC Berk, CMU, UT Austin, UIUC (accepted), Purdue (accepted) and UMich...</p>

<p>well it all depends on the other acceptances....i guess hardly anyone has decided a college since decisions from a lot of colleges are pending...</p>
