Course Changes after Update

Is it okay if our courses change for the spring term or are we required to take the courses that we list specifically in the spring section of the update?

if they do change, just email the schools you applied to and let them know

Do you happen to have or know the contact email?

You can contact undergraduate admissions for each UC that you applied to.

I usually get an email advertising the university and a reply that doesn't necessarily answer my inquiry. Is there a more direct contact that can I reply to.

Yes call the undergraduate admissions office. Do not attempt to email them at this time. They are usually busy around this time. If calling does not work to well you can attempt to go to the office yourself.

well if u change it b4 the update deadline, u shuld be good. but otehr wise u have to contact each skool.

for me, i just emailed the general UC campus email: ucinfo@ucapplication.net

and they replied saying that they would forward the information to the campuses i applied to. it took them like a few weeks to respond -___-' but ya, it works

Personally I had problems changing the courses even though I did it before the deadlines. You could ask them just to be sure.

wait if u change ur classes in the spring, U can just update it with the fall grades /spring planned update right?...u guys are scaring me.

You can continue to update your courses until January 31st. If you update them after that time, they cannot guarantee that the campuses will accept the updates. If you're not sure what classes you'll be taking, just mention that the class is tentative in the comments section then contact each school if it changes. Try calling each campus's admissions department. I have tried talking to someone from the University of California office and they are not as well trained as the admissions officers at each campus.

If you are on a semester system, spring courses are IP (in progress). If you are on a quarter system, spring courses are PL (planned)..

For the UC Davis campus we recommend you continue to complete the Application Update form as long as it is available. You do need to submit it once by January 31 with the most current information but, you can continue to update your coursework through that site unitl it is no longer available.
