Course Choices for Junior Year?

Hi,
Choices for next year’s courses have become available at the end of my school’s second marking period, so I’m hoping for some help on choosing my courses for high school’s ‘most important’ year.
I’m eligible for a few APs, but I don’t want to overwork myself, and I want to make sure I can maintain A’s in all of my classes.

Here is my current sophomore schedule:
German 4 Honors
English 2 Honors
Pre-Calc Honors
AP Stats
Chemistry Honors
US History Honors
Band
Gym
I currently have a 3.7 UW GPA, because I have 2 B’s, due to me having to head back to China in the middle of the year for a funeral. I missed a lot of classwork and fell behind, but I think I have done a good job of catching up, just not quickly enough.

Essentially, these courses opened a lot of AP courses for me. Here is what I’m eligible for:
AP Physics I
AP Physics C
AP US History
AP Calculus AB
AP Calculus BC
AP Chemistry
AP Biology
AP Environmental Science
AP Composition
AP Literature
AP German
These are basically all the AP courses my school offers, and I’m eligible for all of them. From what I have heard advanced students at my school usually take 4 AP courses: AP Physics I, AP Chemistry, AP Composition or AP US History, and AP Calculus AB.
Personally, I do not like Chemistry that much, and I much rather take AP Biology, which is usually for seniors. Also, calculus is not my strong suit, so I rather take AP Calc AB. Here is the schedule I would like to go for:
APUSH
AP German
AP Calc AB
AP Biology
Honors English 3
Study Hall
Gym
(And some other elective to be discussed. Maybe Anatomy.)

Out of the AP courses, which ones do you think I should take? I’m used to a high rigor schedule, but I do not want to overwork myself and get bad grades during junior year. What APs and how many would you advise me to take?
(Note: I’m looking at strongly/extremely competitive colleges, such as UC Berkeley, Amherst College, etc. To be honest I’m not sure on my college or major yet, but I know I want to be in a competitive one.)

Take the ones you are most interested in.

That’s a rigorous schedule :), well-balanced. The only thing missing is a “personal pick”, a class taken just because you find it interesting.

APUSH
AP German
AP Calc AB
AP Biology
Honors English 3 => I’d try and take AP English language if it’s possible alongside APUSH, otherwise it’s fine
Study Hall => keep if you have both APUSh and AP Lang, otherwise replace with a class
Gym

Are you instate for CA?

Note that if you haven’t taken Physics yet, you’d be expected to take AP Physics1 next year.
