Course Decisions.

Currently, my courseload for next year looks like the following:

AP Calculus AB (But taking the BC test instead on May)
AP English Literature
AP Government/Economics (not AP)
Orchestra
AP Biology
AP Statistics

I'll be taking the following AP tests in addition, through self-studying:
AP Physics C
AP Micro/Macroeconomics
AP Japanese
AP European History

I might be leaving another course out. However, I want to know if I should take AP Spanish as well.

To tell you the truth, I'm not very good at Spanish -- my grades may suggest otherwise, but this is the truth. I've taken Spanish since 8th grade, but I want to know how this decision may be reflected in the eyes of admissions.

I would say go ahead and take it if you can.

Although, with all the other APs and stuff, it wouldn't make a big difference (but i think 2 AP lang exams same year would look good).

to tell you the truth you are insane. I don't know why you would ever need that many credits. In fact depending on what you are going to study most of them will wind up being useless.

ziggytheman: Leaning towards not taking it now.

nazhockey26: I think that's irrelevent to the discussion. I want to know that, since Spanish was something I've already put 4 years into, will it reflect badly if I suddenly drop it, even though my school offers an AP Spanish course?

Also, any other input?

haha I'm dropping Spanish...I guess it'll look bad, but the class is a giant waste. my time is better spent in an advanced math or science course.
