I was thinking of changing my scheduel around a little, and I was wondering if anyone knows of a website where we can read little blurbs about the classes (so I'll know what I'm getting myself into)?

ratemyprofessor.com

that was really helpful to me. its not really a course description but its honest opinions about the professors and the courses they teach.

get it straight from the source, there are a lot of professors not on ratemyprofs. Go to Albert, Registration, Course Eval, and follow the links. If you're looking for Stern classes, go to SternLinks on the undergrad home page and look for CFEs (Course Faculty Evaluations)

but cardinal: I am a new student, I can't get access to the CFEs ... what can I do?

I am taking Ghose for Info systems, Cleantheaous for intro to marketing, Ben-Dor for world cultures: china and Kramik for stats ... any thoughts?

they all should be under cas eval.

is there anyway for general studies kids to check course evaluations for gsp classes?

Maggie, are you sure you didn't set up your Stern ID yet? If not, just try the same as your NYU ID, you should be able to access the CFEs. And sorry, don't know anything about those professors. Mattistotle, Stern classes (anything registered with a C##) are not listed in the CAS evaluations.

stern students have no stern classes first year, unless they have science ap, in which case there suppose to take stern class second semester...

cardinal,

I do have a stern ID, but my advisor told me that I can't get access to CFE until first semester .... what can I do?

chill out, I guess, lol. Why do you need to see CFEs now, didn't you already pick classes? If you really need them though, PM me and we'll talk.
