Course Difficulty Factor???

Hi Everyone, my goal is to transfer to UCLA and UCB in 2012. A friend of mine told me that both institutions factor in course difficulty when choosing CC transfer applicants?? Is this true??? Example would be: i would rather choose taking Psych100: Introduction class rather than Socio 200: Urban Sociology. Both classes satisfy my GE and Breadth requirement.

they mainly look at your gpa, thats the most important. therefore if you can get an A in both classes go for the harder one, but if the harder one is going to have you end up with a B or worse then dont take it

My counselor told me to take 5 unit courses (my school is on the quarter system).

just pick easier classes…chances are your gpa will end up being better because of it.

GPA. Pre-reqs. IGETC.
