I was looking at the schedule for spring and it seems that every class has two sets of fees- 10 per billing hour or something like that plus 30 per course. So that this mean that on top of tuition, a student taking 15 hours would have an additional $300 dollars in fees separate from any university general fees?

there aren’t any “university general fees” like most colleges charge (many universities have a laundry list of fees that are tacked on each semester.). Bama only has course fees…no rec center fees, no health center fees, no misc long list of fees). These course fees cover lab fees, technology fees, etc. Course fees are not unusual.

We typically pay about $250 per semester in course fees.
