I'm thinking of apply to U of F. I was looking through the course listings for the fall and spring earlier, and I couldn't help but notice that the ** the course listings don't say whether a class if open or closed. They also don't show the number of students enrolled and the max number of students.**

Am I missing something? Where else could I find this information?

This information is only available to current students who are registering. However most of the general education ones have larger class sizes and if you stalk the system enough it’s not too difficult to get into the classes you want.

I don’t know what the agenda is here, but stylar has posted the same message on many other university forums (TAMU,Rice, Penn, OSU, BYU, MSU, UM, Dartmouth…). Ignore.

@MSmomdad: I’m sorry for being a concerned student. Friends of mine have had to put off graduation for the simple reason that they weren’t able to get into a class, and there was no kind of waitlist system. This would cause me a great deal of stress.

Also, I made a mistake in the original post. It should say: “Let’s say a few of the classes…”.

I didn’t mean to imply I was a student. I’m rather a prospective student.
