Hi guys I was wondering for those of you who have transfered to a 4 year university from a CC, I am scared that it will be a huge drastic change? Yes I have the worth ethic but the most amount of pages I have written for a paper is 12, so Just a little advice or experience stories would be great thanks!

haha the most ive written for a paper has been 5… and that was a lot… im starting cornell ilr in the fall and im freeking out!!!

What school do you plan on transferring to? And transfer9858, I feel ya. Who knows how hard the rigor is at Cornell. I am actually going to transfer there also.

It probably depends on what you did at CC. If you took all easy classes and didn’t challenge yourself much, you might find university to be difficult.

You’ll be fine as long as you don’t leave your papers until the night before they’re due.

I am curious about this as well. I took 66 credits total with classes like gen chem, gen bio, organic chem, physics, calculus, and other electives. I hope I won’t be in for a HUGE change of difficulty when I transfer to my state university.

exactly i am coming from a two year, I challenged myself but still 2 year is nothing compared to a 4 year or is it?

to Ellomeno, it all depends on the school. Queens college and Uchicago are both four years and queens is a joke while chicago is death… so it really all depends…

yes great example if one transfer to Uchi how do they handle the course load? Its a scary thing thinking you are a 4.0 student when in reality you could be a 3.0 at uchi
