I have a question about the difficulty of upper level courses. Would a Government 301 course be tougher than let's say Government 203? I took the intro course and got an A. I want to get the same type of outcome. Should I take another intro course such as Intro to Comp Politics rather than jumping to a higher level course. To be a major, you have to take 2 intro govt courses during your time at Cornell, to apply to the major, you just need 2 govt courses. I just don't like the fact of taking another intro govt course, as I feel that I didn't have to go to any of the lectures (and I probably went to 5 lectures the whole course, there was no pt), and still got an A, why am I paying all of this money?

In the upper level courses, it seems that more emphasis is on research papers.

What do you people think, should I take another intro course or jump to a 200 or 300 level course, and is a 300 course more difficult than a 200 one, if both are worth 4 credits?
