Course on applications

Since I might not necessarily be applying to solely Common App schools, I think this question should go here.

I am taking AP Calculus BC and most likely AP Psychology through independent study, at school. It will appear on my transcript as AP Calculus BC, AP Psychology, and Engineering Design (third thing where I have to write a large paper/design a new GPU heatsink). Should I specify on my applications, when I am filling in the senior year courses, that these are independent studies. Or will I be fine just saying what they are called, considering my transcript will reflect it? The AP independent studies will not be weighted, by the way, although they will be for credit.

If your transcript says that you’re taking AP Psych through independent study, there’s no need to say it again. If it doesn’t, then you should report it.

It will most likely say ‘Intern’ on the Current Schedule portion that Stanford will see, but will be changed to reflect what it actually was following the end of the trimester.
