I'm a Freshman and as I am preparing for the second semester, I realized that I absolutely need to do 19+ hours this semester. Has anyone done course overload? What's the maximum credit hour limit? How difficult is doing 19 hours a semester?

You probably don't "need" to do 19+ hours this semester. I would highly advise not doing overloading, especially as a freshman.

From what I read on the advising website, the max limit is 19 hours. I think you need a minimum GPA of 3.0 or 3.2 for a dean/advisor to allow you to overload yourself. Why would you need to do 19+ hours anyway? That's what summer school/maymester is for if you're trying to do all these courses.

whats maymester??

Maymester is a mini semester during May when a student can only take non-science classes.
