course question

was wondering if psy counts as a "science" or is it social science?

ex- can i take psych instead of chemistry?

thnx in advance..,

It will say on ACES. Click on the class, then hover over the little info button. If it says "NS" anywhere, it will count as a science credit. Classes that deal with the biological basis of psychology will definitely count as a science credit.

psychology in general is considered a social science

thanks guys^

Yeah you can take intro to psych for science credits... other psych classes to, but intro to psych this coming fall semester is an easy class with a great professor and it's a popular way to knock off some pesky science requirements.

Psych is a Natural Science (NS)

Psychology... is a psuedo science!

Tom Cruise, MD. thinks psychology is a psuedo science indeed.

Frankly, his understanding of psychology is far greater than our peon minds could ever hope to comprehend. That is why I am proposing that Duke University offer an Intro to Scientology course beginning for the 2006-2007 year. THAT--my friends--is how the mysteries of the university can be uncovered.

^lol!...............
