So I just had a quick question about registering for classes at BC.

I know it happens during Orientation, and I will be attending Session 2 which is in mid-June.

My worry about this is that I have 5 upcoming AP exams, and I don’t really know how to register for classes w/o knowing if I can skip some. For example, I will be in the honors program on the premed track, so I will obviously need to take bio. But I have the AP bio exam next monday, so if I get a 4/5 (which I should/hope I do), then I won’t want to take Intro to Bio.

How do I handle class registration without knowing AP scores?

Sign up for Bio, and then you could drop it later and replace it with something else. (Once you receive your registration code, you can add-drop all summer, assuming the course is available. Or, take a later Orientation. Or, take Bio “1”, molecular, and ace it.

Register for your classes as if you had no AP credits. After you get your exam scores back, you can have an official score report sent to BC to get credit/waivers if you want to. You can add/drop classes all during the summer and also during the first week of classes each semester.

You can register anytime after Orientation, classes open and close all the way from now until the 2nd week of classes. Sign up for biology initially, because I assume it will fill up quick. Then, if you don’t need it, drop it and pick up something else.
