Hi.

I notice that almost every college, including u of m, require at least 4 years of english.

My school, however, maximum years of English you can take is 4 if you take 1 eng. course each year. For that, I have currently taken 3 years of Eng. and will take 1 year of eng. in my senior year.

Will this satisfy the requirement?

Plus, if possbile, I would like to know how competitive I am =)

My course work is NOT that rigorous. I have taken several honors in math and science courses, but not taken any in english and social studies. However, I have taken 6 APs: Calc (BC), Physics (B & C(both of them)), chem, and Environmental Science and got all 5s. NONE OF THEM ARE OFFERED IN MY SCHOOL (Will this help me a bit?)

I have earned Rensselaer Medal Award and my GPA is 4 (unweighted)

I am in top 5% ( 5 out of 312)

I am currently engaged in 3 school orgs and in no leadership positions.

I have done more than 250 hours of volunteer work and will have done more than 300 hours by Nov (Early Action Deadline).

My ACT score is 29 and will possbile get 30 in Sep. ACT. (Does u of m supersocore the ACT?)

I AM NOT A RESIDENT OF STATE OF MICHIGAN.

Thanks for reading this and have a nice day!
