I recently checked out the website for Stanford's Department of Economics, and discovered that you may be able to exempt from a course with a 5 in micro/macroeconomics, although no credits are offered. Does anyone know if the same policy is available for any other AP tests at Stanford? These are the tests that I am particularly interested in:

AP Comparative Government
AP US Government
AP US History
AP English Lit and Comp
AP English Lang and Comp
AP Statistics

They haven’t yet published the AP credit chart for the incoming class, but I’d imagine it’s not too different from this year:

[AP Credit Chart | Student Affairs](http://studentaffairs.stanford.edu/registrar/students/ap-charts)

Other than Econ, I don’t believe there are any non-credit waivers, so I’d say you’re probably not going to get anything from those tests. Most departments (other than Econ, Chem and maybe one other) don’t actually enforce their prerequisites, however, so you can probably get by through just enrolling in the higher level.
