course rigor -- how do I let them know?

Okay so I'm sending the unies an official high school transcript.

That covers the syllabus and the scores for Grade 9 and 10.

For 11th and 12th, they don't make transcripts. I was an IB student, and I am taking a gap year now (thus I have already graduated).

Now I have my final diploma certifying my grades -- so I'm planning on photocopying, and attesting that and sending that to the unies.

How else do I provide them proof? They most likely need syllabuses right?

Should I just print this off the IB website or something and send it with my application?

I'm so horribly confused and my head is swirling in such changing directions that I have no idea what to do.

Thanks, lifeguards.

I think your definition of course rigor is slightly off base: course rigor refers to how challenging your course schedule was compared to the courses offered at your HS (for instance, did you take all APs and Honors course offered, most, some, none?), not the difficulty of specific classes (as would be illustrated by the course syllabus). In their LOR, your GC should discuss how rigorous your schedule in reference to what was offered at your school.

Thanks for clearing that...I didn't mean course rigor though...that was just bad terminology sorry..

I mean...how do I let them know the syllabus for 11th and 12th Grade IB?

BUMP BUMP ...anyone?

bump please please bump reply please bump bump

Your old school should provide you a complete transcript if you contact them. Just be sure to send an official, sealed copy of it to the college (not one you've opened or a copy).

Don't understand why you can't get an official transcript from your HS with all of your grades. Why do you talk about "syllabus"? To me a syllabus is a list of what topics were covered in a class, you don't need a syllabus, you need a transcript.
