I'm going into mech engineering and I'm planning to keep up with the premed track. I got a 5 on AP chem, so what chem courses should I take? Should I just accept the credit and go to chem 208, or should i sign up for 215-216, or should i just go with the basic 207-208. Same for bio, 5 on AP, but not sure what I should do as a premed engineer. Is a chem course, physics course, math course, compsci course, and FWS too much for one semester?

Are you currently a cornell freshman, or prospective student?

currently a cornell freshman

Aren't there chemistry courses for engineers? I thought one was 211, but I'm not sure. If they don't exist, I would suggest 207-208, since you'll be taking other hardcore engineering classes. If you want to follow the premed track, why not biological engineering?

i do what interests me and is possible, not what will be most convenient

Well aren't you an upstanding individual.
